Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Ryan Ferdinand

This semester has been incredibly demanding. Biomedical engineering is a rigorous field, integrating the core concepts of chemical engineering with mechanical motion and medicine. Despite the challenges, my goals and determination remain constant. Adjusting life away from home for an extended period was difficult. At times, I felt isolated from my peers and overwhelmed by the pressure to fit in. However, I found solace and support in my Faith and Reason Communitas, which became a cornerstone of my college experience. This journey has been both challenging and transformative, and I will carry these lessons with me throughout the rest of my college years.
