About the SCEC Class of 1998 Alumni Association

Our Story
The SCEC Class of 1998 Alumni Association is the result of years of connection, pride, and a shared desire to give back. Over the years, our class has come together for memorable reunions, including a vibrant celebration of our 10th anniversary that reminded us just how special our bond is.
As we approached our 25th year since graduating from the St. Croix Educational Complex, reflection turned into action. In November 2023, we officially established the Alumni Association—and in 2024, we became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We’re just getting started—and there’s so much more ahead.
Our Impact
At the heart of the SCEC Class of 1998 Alumni Association is a powerful mission: To champion, empower, and equip students throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands by fostering an inclusive, innovative, and supportive educational environment.
We strive to unlock students’ full potential by nurturing confident, capable individuals who are prepared to thrive in a dynamic world. Through comprehensive resources, academic support, mentorship, and holistic opportunities, we are helping shape the leaders of tomorrow—starting right here at home.
Our Reach
Our vision extends far beyond the classroom. We envision a transformative educational landscape across the U.S. Virgin Islands— one where every student has equitable access to high-quality education, abundant resources, and diverse pathways to success.
As the Complex Class of ’98 Alumni, we are committed to fostering a community where curiosity, creativity, and resilience are celebrated. A future where every student is inspired to embrace their potential, lead with purpose, and contribute meaningfully—locally and globally—to a brighter tomorrow.
